Sick and tired and irritated

In Uncategorized on January 6, 2012 at 3:27 am

Okay so I thought I was blogging on my site and nope….now can’t find what I wrote so I’m starting with what I am not digging today which is “feeling good about what you’ve written and completed” and then feeling frustrated, disappointed and irritated that I can’t find it now! Uuuggghhhhh!!
Here is what I love….
Running/working out when I’ve got a nasty cold. I know, sick and wrong and really gross, but it feels good. Drain the mess, start feeling better! Tomorrow is a new healthy day!

Sitting at the tennis house

Sitting at the Bloomfield tennis house…

Ha ha ha not playing tennis but watching my 12 year old train with a small intense soccer group. Pretty cool stuff. Intense training for an intense little girl. Driven by an internal drive to be the best. I love it.Wish I had half the intensity, drive and love for one thing that I am truly passionate about. This little lady eats breathes and dreams about soccer 24-7.

She will succeed. I know this because I see her intensity and internal engine that isI unstoppable!

Things I love

Inner drive that is shown through and through on something that one is passionate about, he/she will do anything to achieve! AWESOME!!!

I am not digging today

Laundry complete but 20 piles to put away. That sucks, somehow I manage to get it all done but can’t seem to put it away and even asking kids to do it….it gets all screwed up and wrinkled and waAaaaaaaaa! Not diggin that!!!

Last Day Off Before Reality Sets In

In Uncategorized on January 3, 2012 at 2:34 pm

Today is the last day of play….kids go back to school tomorrow! Bittersweet. Need to get back to reality.Back to a schedule, back to work, back to responsibility and back to getting physically active for everyone!

I love today this awesome glitter nail polish by the Kardasians.

It’s called Nicole by OPI Rainbow in the S-Kylie and I am telling you it’s a party on your finger. Super cute and lots of fun!!

I am not digging the weather today….beautiful snow, looks pretty but with the wind chill it’s 7 degrees. ┬áNot great day for walking the dogs. Brrrrrrr.

Winter wonderland

Happy new year!

2012 feels good….

My family and I spent the holiday weekend at Crystal Mountain in Michigan. Weather was really nice….warm, snow a bit slushy but all in all super fun skiing but the best part was seeing my 7 year old grasp snow boarding. Very cool to see a child get excited about something, thinks shes good at it and then act all cool about it. Awesome!!

It was just the 5 of us. Very rare to not have our posse traveling with us (mom, dad, cousins, friends, etc). There was no time schedule. Nobody got worked up over dinner, cleaning up, entertaining, and what time we had to be back to seeeverybody back at the house. It was good ole outdoor fun!

We did end up hooking up with friends last night…kids went to the hill all together. Parents stayed behind with little wine and ┬ámunches. Fire was cozy and we sat in theirplace which was little cottage which looked like a storybook pLace. Adorable.

Two youngest girls stayed behind and entertained us with a little impromptu hip hop party. It’s amazing that little bodies can move in such crazy funky ways. It was hilarious. Cheap entertainment.

Okay so what I love right now is…

Up north winter roads that are covered in snow and either side of the 2 lane highway is lined with huge pine trees.

What I am not digging right now is….

My 12 year old daughter beating me up about why we’re not on Facebook and why she can’t have a Facebook and how “everyone else has one”. Riiiiggggggghhhhhhttttt.

Peace XO
